Gustavo Benítez Alvarez is a Prosecutor in the office of the State Attorney General in Ecuador, where he has worked since 2002. Since 2006, he has also taught at the Prosecutors School and other universities, in Ecuador and abroad. He received his Master of Public Management degree from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea, where he prepared a GDI case study on Integrated Security while completing his graduate studies.
Gustavo also holds a master’s degree in international economic law from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. He also holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence and Lawyer of the Courts degree from Central University, and a degree in Information Systems Engineering from Israel University, in Ecuador.
Gustavo’s work has been published by UNESCO South Korea, the State Attorney General's Office, and several magazines.
