Edgardo Mosqueira is Senior Public Sector Management Specialist at the World Bank. He served as Minister of the Presidency, Minister of Labor and high level public official in Peru, senior researcher at the Hernando de Soto’s Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) and Dean of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas School of Law. His roles in the Peruvian public sector included management positions at the Compensation and Social Development Fund (FONCODES) –the main social investment fund- and the Commission for the Promotion of Private Investment (COPRI) which led the privatization process, among others. Mosqueira graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (Law). He has studies on a Master in International Public Policy at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and studies on public management at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
